2.1. | RZ-21-691 AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A 20.26-ACRE TRACT OF LAND AT 925 AMHERST STREET (Map Number 190-01- -1) AND AN 8.0-ACRE PORTION OF A LOT AT 601 JEFFERSON STREET (Map Number 210-1- -1) FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LR) DISTRICT TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LR) DISTRICT WITH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) OVERLAY. The Comprehensive Plan identifies the 20.26-acre site as Civic/Institutional or Park and the 8.0 acre area as Neighborhood Stabilization. The current LR zoning permits up to 79 single-family residential lots by right at a density of 2.8 units per acre.
