O-2022-7: TA-21-990 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLES 1-2, 8-1, 10-1, 11-1, 12-1, 16.1-1, AND 18-10.1 OF THE WINCHESTER ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS. This publicly-sponsored text amendment would define the term solar energy systems (e.g. the use of equipment for the conversion of sunlight into electricity), permit them as an accessory use in all zoning districts, permit them as a principal use in certain zoning districts, and specify additional regulations that apply to all solar energy systems.
