EXECUTIVE SESSION

3.1.

Motion to recess into a closed meeting to discuss the following:

1. Consultation with legal counsel and be briefed by staff members or consultants pertaining to actual or probable litigation, where such consultation or briefing in an open meeting would adversely affect the negotiating or litigating posture of the City. The subject matter is Grafton Schools, Inc. v. City of Winchester, as authorized by Va. Code section 2.2-37-11(A)(8)

2.  To discuss the status of specific local government personnel, as authorized by section 2.2-3711(A)(1) of the Virginia Code.  The subject matter of the meeting is the senior management team.

3.  To discuss the disposition of surplus real property owned by the City, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the negotiating strategy of the public body, as authorized by Va. Code section 2.2-3711(A)(3).
