CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

EXECUTIVE SESSION

2.1.

Motion to convene in executive session pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(1) for the discussion of the hiring and appointment of specific public officers, appointees, or employees. The subject matter is the hiring of an Interim City Manager; and pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(29), for the discussion of the award of a public contract involving the expenditure of public funds, including interviews of bidders or offerors, and discussion of the terms or scope of such contract, where discussion in an open session would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body; and

Motion to convene in executive session to discuss the appointment of specific public officers and appointees, as authorized by section 2.2-3711(A)(1) of the state code. The subject matter is the appointment of specific public officials to include but not limited to the Economic Development Authority, Planning Commission, Northwestern Community Services Board, Tourism Board, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Old Town Advancement Commission, and Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board.
